Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) EPA Lead Initial Certification Course
 
Attendees will learn 11 skill sets during hands-on training, including:

• Review of current EPA recognized test kits to determine the presence of lead on painted surfaces and discussing challenges.
• Setting up barriers, signage, and entry door set-up to protect work areas.
• Personal protective equipment usage.
• EPA required cleaning verification procedures at the conclusion of a project and understanding how to know when the work area is "clean enough."
• Attendees fill out EPA required documentation, including: pre-renovation education records, test kit documentation forms, paint chip sample collections form, and post-renovation reporting.
